Before you begin

Record the current computer name, application name, and exact version.
Confirm which license and location the workstation uses.
Verify the replacement computer meets the application and macOS requirements.
Back up the application settings and the production data required by the product-specific move procedure.
Keep the original workstation available until the new installation has been tested.

When the original workstation is unavailable

Do not purchase another license or repeatedly attempt activation. Open a support request with the organization, location, application, license information, old computer name when known, and the reason the original system cannot release the activation. Never place a license key in a public or shared note.
